Christoph Köppel

Christoph Köppel advises and represents companies with a special focus on the areas of trade law (especially in an international context), company law and general contract law. Another special focus of Christoph’s activities is in regard to Chinese law. In China related mandates, Christoph works closely together with the Chinese law firm Global Law Office, in which he holds a position as a Senior Legal Counsel.

Christoph studied law at the University of Fribourg and finalized his studies there in the year 1999 with a licentiate in legal studies. He was admitted to the bar in Switzerland in 2003, after passing the bar exam of the Canton of Zürich. In the years 2006 and 2007, Christoph participated in a Master of Law program of the Tsinghua University in Beijing and finalized these studies with a LL.M. in Chinese economic law. During the years 2007 to 2010, Christoph was working first as an associate and thereafter as a resident partner and Chief Representative in a Representative Office of a European law firm in Beijing. In the year 2011, Christoph joined the Chinese law firm Global Law Office, first in Beijing and from 2017 on in Shanghai.

Bachelor of Science ZFH in economic law

Alessandra de Lorenzo is the head secretary of the law firm. Besides her commercial education, she successfully participated in a bachelor program in economic law in the year 2012, at the Zurich University of Applied Sciences. Before starting to work at our law firm, Alessandra was able to obtain a variety of experiences in different jobs.

Alessandra is fluent in German and English.

Virginia Gatti supports our law firm in all administrative work since November 2020.

After her commercial education, Virginia successfully finalized the Professional Maturity Certificate, in the area economy and services. Virginia obtained a variety of experiences before starting to work at our law firm.

Virginia is fluent in German and English
