Xinru Ma is a Chinese lawyer and a Certified Information Privacy Professional/Europe. She received her education in China at the Ocean University of China, where she obtained a bachelor’s degree in law. In Germany she studied at the University of Munich where she obtained two master’s degrees in international Economic Law and German Law. Xinru specializes in Chinese and European data-related laws, foreign direct investment, general corporate law, and mergers and acquisitions, and has been actively involved in advising foreign invested companies regarding compliance with the Chinese network security, data, and personal information protection laws and the corresponding regulations.

Yutong Xiao is a Chinese lawyer, educated in China at the Nanjing University of Finance and Economics, where she obtained a bachelor’s degree in law. In addition, she obtained a master’s degree in economic law from Nanjing University. In Germany she obtained a master’s degree in law from the University of Göttingen. Yutong specializes in providing legal services in dispute resolution, debt collection, and foreign direct investment. She has represented clients in several commercial lawsuits and judicial enforcement cases, and she has provided legal advice on company affairs, such as the establishment of entities, the structuring of foreign investments in China, the execution of registration changes, and the de-registration of foreign invested enterprises for companies.

Jie (Hailey) Dong is a Chinese lawyer, educated at the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China where she obtained a bachelor’s degree of law. She also obtained a master’s degree in law from the Washington University in St. Louis. Hailey specializes in data compliance and general corporate laws. Prior to joining us, Hailey worked at a leading Internet company, mainly in the areas of CCPA, GDPR, and China’s Personal Information Protection Law. Hailey has successfully passed the New York Bar Exam and is currently preparing for admission as a licensed attorney in the State of New York.

Jonathan studied law at the University of Zurich and spent a semester abroad at the Hebrew University in Jerusalem. After obtaining his Master's degree, he worked as a legal assistant in both a renowned commercial law firm in Zurich and an international chemical company in Basel. In these positions, he specialized in advising internationally operating companies, primarily in the area of commercial law. Parallel to his work at our law firm, Jonathan is currently preparing for the bar exam in the Canton of Zurich.

Wu Yuzhuo holds the legal practice qualification in Mainland China. She obtained dual bachelor's degrees in Law and Literature as well as a master's degree in International Law from China University of Political Science and Law. Additionally, she obtained a Master of Law degree in European and International Law from the University of Hamburg in Germany. She has interned at several well-known Chinese law firms, where she gained experience in areas such as international arbitration, general legal consulting, and IPO listings. Yuzhuo has also participated multiple times in simulated arbitration tribunals for Foreign Direct Investment and the Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot, where she represented her school and achieved outstanding results.
